Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Sort Workshop mobile application (the "Application") published by Bastet Elektronik Hizmetler ve Tic Ltd Sti ("Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our"). The Application is a free-to-play casual puzzle and workshop game. By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Application, we may collect:
- Gameplay data: level progress, coins, workshop upgrades, inventory items, tutorial completion, and settings stored on your device and synced to our cloud when you are online
- Account identifiers: an anonymous Firebase user ID; optionally a linked Google Play Games or Yandex account identifier if you choose to link accounts
- Profile and social data: display name, avatar, friend code, clan membership, and invite codes if you use social features
- Demographics you provide: country and birth year range selected in Settings (used for aggregated analytics and reporting)
- Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, and general gameplay analytics events
- Advertising identifiers: advertising ID where applicable for ad delivery and measurement
The Application does not collect precise GPS location. We do not use AI to make automated decisions about you.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Save and sync your game progress across sessions and devices
- Operate leaderboards, friends, and clan features
- Balance gameplay and configure features via Remote Config
- Measure level difficulty and aggregated gameplay metrics
- Deliver and measure advertisements
- Detect crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Functions)
- Yandex (ads and optional sign-in on RuStore builds)
5. Advertising and Consent (GDPR / UMP)
The Application may show ads through Google AdMob and/or Yandex Ads. Where required by law (including the European Economic Area), we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before personalized advertising.
You can update your ad privacy choices at any time in the in-app Settings → Privacy Settings button when it is available. If you decline personalized ads, non-personalized ads may still be shown.
6. Data Storage and Retention
Progress is stored locally on your device and may be backed up to Firebase Firestore when online. We retain data while you use the Application and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, security, and legal compliance.
7. Your Rights and Data Deletion
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To request deletion of your cloud save and associated account data, contact us at bastet@bastetsoft.com. You can also reset local progress from in-app Settings.
8. Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact bastet@bastetsoft.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers operated by our service providers (including Google and Yandex) in countries other than your own. By using the Application, you consent to such transfers where permitted by law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Application after changes means you accept the updated policy.
